Get ready for our plunge back into Romans. This week read Romans 5:12-6:5, and think on these things. In the first five chapters the focus is on what Christ’s death did to deliver us from our sins. In the next three, but especially in Romans 6, God emphasizes what Christ’s death did to deliver the sinner. Chapters 1-5 shows us what the cross means and how it gave forgiveness for sins, but in Romans 6 we see what Christ did to give forgiveness to the sinner. Exciting times!
