We took a family photo recently at my brother's wedding, and it's stunning. My husband and I are beaming, holding our three precious children. When I look at this photo, I think two things: 1. Wow God!! You are truly amazing. I do not take what I see in this picture for granted because I know how close I was to having none of it. The second thing is that I don't want anyone to look at this photo, or my life and think that what I have is perfect or that the road to get here has been. Both of those statements simply aren't true.

Truthfully, my life is amazing. But it's not been a straight and narrow path to this point if you know what I mean. And I want to share a little bit more about what I mean in hopes that it encourages you.
