Today on the We Are Made Podcast, Imani is joined by visual artist Cris LaNiese. Born in Jacksonville, FL, her journey into the creative world began with her passion for writing. She attended The School of the Art for high school, but soon she found that her desire to feel normal didn’t align with her pursuit in poetry anymore. She took some time off and soon discovered a greater solace in the medium of art as a form of expression. But it didn’t stop there, her journey evolved and so did she. Introducing this weeks origin story, Cris LaNiese.
