Chris And Sarah Wear The Pants

12 - DEATH OF BOHEMIA AND THE ART OF BEING IMPRACTICAL, UNINTERESTING, UNAESTHETIC AND INCORRECT.

Listen Later

This week Chris tells us all about the end of an Aussie arts magazine and Chris and Sarah discuss the state of the arts in Australia. Sarah reads an opinion piece from a massive loser who thinks women shouldn’t play sport, then goes into a brief history of women and sport, starting with the first Olympics and ending today. They discuss the sports they played as a kid and the best Pants moment of all time from Chris’s mum.

Chris’s article and ad is from Bohemia - the All Australian Literary Magazine,  July 1940.

Sarah’s article is from Courier-Mail (Brisbane), Thursday 27 September 1934, page 12 - “Women and Sport”

Sarah also referenced these articles from The National Library, The New York Times, ESPN and Aljazeera.
