For those who subscribe to the belief that humanity continues past the death experience, that view has usually had two general destinies — a cool one and a hot one.  

For some of us these assertions create more questions than it provides answers.

If heaven is real it has better be more than me on a cloud with a harp!  What is heaven?  Is it real?   If so, where is heaven?  Who gets to go there?
