Dr. Michael Ruse is the professor of philosophy and the Director of the Program in the History and Philosophy of Science at the Florida State University.

In our conversation, he talks about the central theme present in all of his works, the implications of the Darwinian evolutionary theory, and whether or not evolution to more complicated forms necessarily means progress.
