In our culture today, it has almost become a fashionable trend to have "mixed-babies", however, that has not always been the case and nor has it always been sunshine and rainbows for all parties involved. In today's episode, I sit with a longtime friend of mine, Denzel Amankwah-Nishizawa to discuss his Blasian identity. He highlights the joys and drawbacks of growing up mixed in both his home countries (Ghana & Japan), as well as provides recommendations for individuals who may be proponents of a mixed experience or anticipate having mixed children in the future.
