Qui talks about what it means to reparent their inner child as a trans person, exploring the gendered complexities of leaning to accept and embrace iterations of themself they’d previously rejected. Qui recalls how being forced to be alone during the first couple of years of the pandemic is ultimately what made space for their big ass feelings and begin to repair the ruptures in their relationship with themself. Freddie, unshockingly, resonates with all of this. This is a beautiful conversation of trans connection, joy, and healing.
