In this episode, we welcome Dr. BAS, our faculty in residence elect, and Stacye Thompson to share about their study in internationalization at the community college level through a social justice lens. Stacye is a 25 year veteran of international education and is currently the Coordinator of International Student Services at Jefferson State Community College while working on her doctorate in educational studies for diverse population at University of Alabama Birmingham. Dr.BAS is the Assistant Professor of Higher Education at University of Alabama Birmingham and a proud product of a community college. Stacye works closely her faculty, Dr.BAS in exploring and researching about the topic where they are share their findings and perspectives into internationalization with us in this episode.
