Philippians is about finding joy in prison. The words, ‘Rejoice’ and ‘Joy’ occur repeatedly against, ‘chains’. ‘travail’, ‘guards’, ‘anxiety’ and ‘hunger’. If Christianity works in a prison, it will work anywhere else. If it doesn’t, it won’t be of much value anywhere else.
