Hi friends! Thanks so much for showing up here. In this episode I'm here to discuss the uncomfortable. I debated whether or not to even post a new episode this week. However, I came to the conclusion that I have a platform, and If I can use It to help others find their voice or gain the confidence to look Inward or speak up, then I'm going to. I wanted to be real with you guys and share my thoughts on everything from allyship, cancel culture, being too politically correct, & how we can shift our perspectives to see 2020 as a pivotal year that forces us to grow. I also touch on how I've been doing the work and how you can too when It comes to recognizing white privilege. Lastly, I shoutout a few black women who I've found to be Inspiring, thought-provoking, educational, & powerful Individuals to follow on Instagram. I'll link their profiles below, as well as other resources mentioned. Thanks so much for the listen again, I hope you can take something positive from It!
