ServiceNow stood out as a fascinating case study. Despite its stellar performance in 2021, like many tech companies, it faced a challenging 2022. This brings us to an essential investment lesson: strong fundamentals don't always mean you should hold on during a price fall.

📉 In February 2022, when stocks were tumbling, we didn't just watch them bleed. The stock market can be like a game of snakes and ladders; riding a stock all the way down and back up can leave you where you started. Instead, we chose to exit and hold cash, avoiding significant drops like Meta's 80% plunge.

📈 Fast forward to January 2023, and with ServiceNow's fundamentals remaining robust, it was time to re-enter. This decision paid off handsomely, as ServiceNow became one of our top performers this year. It's all about timing and recognizing the right moment to buy, akin to Warren Buffett's approach to taking over a company.
