Dave has been working in software engineering for almost 20 years now, starting out as a developer just as .NET was first released by Microsoft.He’s been responsible for building and running engineering teams for at least half of that, at businesses including leasing.com, Zuto and currently LADbible Group.

No longer in the Microsoft stack, Dave now specialises in fullstack JavaScript, cloud-native architecture and containerisation, as well as building high performing teams and engineer career development.

Just over a year ago, Dave was granted that rarest of opportunities: to completely rebuild a department and a technology stack at a world-renowned digital business. We'll be talking about how I went about this, and a few lessons I learned along the way.
