"Your poor brain wants to do what it does best, which is innovate and come up with new ideas and live to its full human potential. But when you're cramming it with content from other people, when you're cramming it with sound from every side, when you're cramming it with, screens and visual input all the time that's changing and busy. Your brain doesn't need to think of its own stuff, because it's getting, force-fed. And when it gets force-fed, it gets lazy."

"If you talk to your close friends and colleagues about feeling creatively stifled in your work, about how you shoot 30 weddings a year but never do anything creative. "The computer is like the worst place for creative thought. It's just so opposite of what our bodies are made to do. [...] If you wake up and immediately check Instagram and check all of your emails, your head is already full of worry, because you can't see to everything at once."
