Luke is a senior at the University of Notre Dame. But more importantly, an incredible student of the game that is life. I’m talking to Luke in what should be the glory lap of his undergraduate career. And yet - like millions of other students all over the world - Luke is homebound with his family, getting used to a life permeated by online classes conducted via Zoom and thinking about what could have been.
Except this young man is a bit different from the rest. His tone is not petulant, nor is he looking for sympathy, but rather challenging his inner optimism, hunger and a continued eagerness to grow. Thankful for the experience he has had at Notre Dame, Luke is a stellar example of why your character is indeed your only fate.
