The Rescuers series began in 1959 with children’s novels by Margery Sharp, centered on small mice who carry out daring rescue missions.

This 1977 edition was released as part of the Disneyland Records Little Long Playing Book & Record series (Cover No. 367) and features narration by Bob Holt.

Featuring characters from the Disney film suggested by Sharp’s original books, this version is presented in the classic read-along format, pairing illustrated pages with guided narration characteristic of the era.
