12 Ways to Cultivate Discipline

In this episode we discuss what discipline actually means for us and then we explore ways in which we can develop our own discipline.

What is discipline?

Following a lifestyle you want to lead. Plain and simple. Obviously life doesn’t always go the way we want, but you don’t want to live your life wishing you were something or somebody else. You have to decide what you want to do, What’s important to you. Do you want to procrastinate less? Do you want to lose weight? You’ll never follow it if someone just told you. Once you've decided your goals then

How do we stick to them

  1. 1 step at a time

  2. -get used to being uncomfortable

  3. be okay with less progress

  4. we are a product of our environment

  5. set a timeline (it’s okay if you don’t make it)

  6. accountability partner?

  7. are you driven more by risk or reward

  8. be smart with your resources

  9. build habits

  10. don’t beat yourself up

  11. hard/time consuming stuff first

  12. Replace bad habits with new and focus on building new. Take one day at a time. Don’t overthink it. Just do it.
