This is the third in a series of Healing Brokenness. The first part was about a boy who had an illness that threw him into the fire and water and the father came to Jesus to heal his son. He did and we can….heal. The second was about a man that was out of his mind, lived in a graveyard, was ostracized and could not be controlled. He lived on the other side of the tracks…..in a non-Jewish area. Jesus took him and turned his mind inside out, and got him in his right mind. We can too. This week is about a Jewish leader who had a daughter so sick, she died. You have probably seen the headlines, “A 12 year old girl has died”. The news we never want to get. Your child has died. Jesus went to the leader’s house where he was ridiculed for saying the little girl was asleep. Jesus told her to get up…and she did.
