Dear Dance

120 | The Not So Starving Artist Mel Cabey

Listen Later

Today I'm speaking with Mel Cabey while making a mini book from one piece of paper. Melissa grew up in NJ and was a classic theatre, obsessed child. She got a BFA in musical theatre at Coastal Carolina University. She has lived on the ocean for 2 years of her life performing on cruise ships. She also toured the country and Japan as Val in A Chorus Line. In her downtown, Mel has a business called “the not so starving artist” where she coaches people on nutrition and wellness.
