Charlie Daniels has always been a good friend of the military, so when it came time for the annual ‘Operation Yellow Ribbon’ event at Nashville’s Lipscomb University, he was gracious enough to donate his time again.  The inspiring evening of stories and songs featured Charlie and a few of his friends, including retired General Tommy Franks. All proceeds from the evening benefit Lipscomb University’s Yellow Ribbon program, which offers free tuition for eligible U-S military veterans. We caught up with a few of the key players in this incredible evening to find out what the Yellow Ribbon event was all about.
