At the insistence of Clara, the Tardis arrives in Sherwood forest so she can meet “the real Robin Hood” despite the Doctor’s insistence that he is a fictional character that doesn’t exist. But when they do in fact meet a man claiming to be Robin Hood, they must strike up an unlikely alliance to stop an evil plot that will put all of Nottingham at stake, The Doctor must decide who is real and who is fake. Can impossible heroes actually exist?
