In May of 2009, Dr. Scherz founded the physician group, Docs 4 Patient Care, which has subsequently become one of the most prominent physician groups in championing sensible healthcare reform. He was a featured speaker on a healthcare panel at CPAC in 2010. Dr. Barbour graduated manga cum lauded from St. Louis University School of Medicine in 1996 and has been in private practice since 2002. He was a 1988 collegiate All-American rugby Player and co-captain of the National Champion UC Berkeley rugby team.
