Running a personal best is a goal for many runners and we suspect that the vast majority seek the personal record at one time or another during their running career.
For some the personal best run time is a life long focus and their reson to run. For others it is a source of constant frustration and leadss to a love/hate relationship with running. Another group moves on from the persoanl best time in search of other goals that they find more satisfying.
Each to their own we say but we do encourage everyone to at one stage of their running career to go in pursuit of their personal best.
