Time to call in the big guns!
Thank you for calling GIH where we instigate growth one call at a time where we utilize antiquated technology to deliver 3-minute leadership lessons every day of the week! This is message #121 and I am Aaron Havens.
A hype man, typically in hip hop music, is a backing vocalist who supports the primary performer with exclamations, interjections, or ad-libs in an attempt to increase an audience’s excitement or engagement.
OHHHHHH. Where should we take it from here?
Let’s do a “listen to your own adventure” from here.
If you want the topic of “who is your hype man” press 1
If you want the topic of “can I be your hype man” press 2
You chose wisely. I mean here we go.
My friends today you have the gift of life. Wow, amazing. The use of oxygen is a gift for not only you, but for the world you interact with today. Maybe just in yourself… maybe in a few close to you… and maybe to the world at large…. You’re living and doing some great stuff. You are on point. You’ve got this!
To all the teachers that are starting school today, and for anyone else that needs a hype man, right after this call, dial a number of someone in your corner. Someone who when you say hype me up today… will let it flow.
Then immediately ask that person if you can be their hype man… and return the favor.
If today is a day you’re feeling the flow and in a groove then good, go for it. If today is a day you’re dragging a bit… call in your hype man. And maybe, if that’s not possible for you, then maybe you can pull up your Spotify or turn on that song that gets you going. Maybe all we need today is to turn up the music, drown out the bland blue and remember that who we are is good, and what we are doing is worth it. It’s time to call in the big guns! Do your thing.
So go face the classroom of kids. Go balance those budgets. Go help the kids get dressed. Go on a run. Go do your thing. I’m cheering you on. Thanks for cheering me on as well.
Thanks for calling in today. Tune in tomorrow for a fresh new topic! After the beep: Tell me what is right, what is good, what is nice. Also, tell me what you need...
