In the final episode of 2020, Christian and Noah draw on their experience directing and racing in professional development programs respectively, as well as direct USAC National Team experience, to provide some context and insight into the controversial 2021 USAC Olympic Development Academy program. While it is easy to be critical of the new system, it is important to recognize that we have the shared goal of increasing American exposure to European racing. To that end, WRA created the Belgium Racing Experience in 2011 as a way to access the vital resource that is amateur racing in Belgium and the neighboring countries, while minimizing financial frills and selection politics.
