Eric Olsen is Communications Director for Congressman John Garamendi (D-CA 8th District) of California, where he directs media relations, social media, constituency communications, and more. He’s worked with all the national networks and shows and managed highly targeted PR campaigns that focus on getting into the weeds of an issue and connecting it to a specific constituency. In 2023, he’s spending his free time working to bring a greater level of transparency and insight into politics and how our government functions, with the goal of providing a glimpse into how people can cultivate a rewarding PR career in politics and government.
