Imagine driving down a calm road on a sunny Sunday afternoon. No cares in the world. The windows are down and the breeze is just the right temperature. The whip lash that is in our life… the kind that is completely avoidable by being just slightly proactive.
What time should I get up
Should I hit snooze
Should I go to the bathroom
Should I take a shower
What should I wear
Should I watch this instagram
Should I go to the gym
What should I wear when I go to the gym
What time should I go to the gym
Should I do a pre-workout shake
Should I drink it at home, in the car, in the gym.
Leg day? Arm day? Cardio……
Whew…. On and on and on.
Our head on a swivel, trying to make decisions every three second.
Think of all the used up calories spent before 8 am. What a waste of time and energy that could have been decided ahead of time.
Today. What are some easy decisions you can make to make tomorrow a little less “whip lash…eee”? You know what I’m saying? Tonight, I’ve packed my workout gear and it’s in my car ready for me in the morning. DONE. No thought needed.
What is something you find yourself trying to decide every single day that you can set up as a protocol. If you lay your clothes out and your coffee mug is ready and your car is filled up… those decisions are MADE! Just go with the flow!
