Winter storm continues through early Wednesday
• We are tracking the winter storm now
• First Alert Weather Day through midday
• Temperatures may drop a few degrees to allow for some icing on some Duval county roads, especially inland
• Snow continues through 6-7 AM for most of SE Georgia
• Some wintry mix is possible through 8-9 am for JAX metro
• Temperatures will rise above freezing by 10 am (+/-)
• Highs today will only be in the upper 30s to lower 40s
• The record low high temperature is 41 degrees from 2022
• Overnight, we drop down to the 20s and 30s inland and mid to upper 30s along the coast
• Some refreezing is possible in SE Georgia where any snow doesn't melt today
• The bitter cold continues over the next several mornings
