Money is a good gift, but it makes a terrible god. Matthew 6:24 tells us we cannot serve both God and money. Solomon—who had immense wealth— testifies that it only left him wanting for more. Only Jesus, the giver of all good gifts, can truly satisfy. May we find our true contentment in Him.
