For this week's podcast I blow off the dust of an interview I conducted years ago with Thabiti Anyabwile about his book What is A Healthy Church Member? While the audio quality isn't the greatest, the content is well worth your time (and maybe your strain). We first talk about Thabiti's salvation testimony and then get into topics such as a Biblical case for membership, church discipline, how to listen to a sermon, what part theology should play in the lives of the average person in the pew, and what the gospel really is all about. Thabiti Anyabwile is a church planter in Washington DC (has been Senior Pastor of First Baptist Church of Grand Cayman in the Grand Cayman Islands) and a Council member with The Gospel Coalition.
