    The immediate answer would be a “Sad”. Yeap, you feel sad, or at least I feel sad when I have to travel even for just a few days. This is because baby grows up really fast. Between Month 0 to Month 5 now, we are see changes by weeks. And I really do not want to missed any of these.

    My biggest take-away as a new dad in Month 1
    Talking about this 4 months later is a bit of challenge, hard to remember. The most memorable is witnessing the changes with my wife and she experiencing a bit of baby blue. I mean like how their hormone have changes during the pregnancy stage. Now that baby is out, they are going through another change. So their sacrifice is really big. Not only in terms of their physical changes but also mental. I think it is important for husband to give all the support that you can give to your wife during the 1st month after the baby's arrival. 
    This is the period where a lot of changes are taking.
    A new baby 
    A new stranger, confinement lady
    If you have your parents or in-laws doing that confinement. it is great
    Maybe you might have gotten a new maid at the same time 
    So there are many people moving around, lots of energy & changes
    Unlike when it was just two of you living together. As there are more people, there will also be tendency to have conflicts. With that, support your wife is important as immediate week after birth could be quite emotional for them
    So there is a Chinese saying, 世上只有妈妈好
    Mom is the best in the world
    This is my biggest take-away. Having a baby is awesome. It really changes the way we live. But it also help me understand the challenges and changes that your most loving person have to go through :) Moms are the most amazing. Now go give her a kiss.

    Hi, this is Bryan and welcome to 123techparents. It's been a while since I last recorded a podcast. So much have changed since then. The biggest change in my life is that I have a 4 month old daughter now. And with her arrival so much of my thinking and goals have changed. So today I decided to restart on my interest and start talking about my learnings as a new dad. 

    Plus I like to talk about tech too. As you know everything we do now is tech related. Moe have also come up with programs that aim to teach children programming in primary 6. We cannot avoid technology but how can we embrace it? So our children does not become salves to the mobile screen or becoming game addicts. We are going to talk about this and learn together. 

    On top of this we are going to talk about privacy, how can we protect ourselves and our children online against the scammers. Each episode is no longer than 5mins. Unless maybe I have guests on the show. This year is an awesome year because I have at least 5 friends who are becoming new father like me so we have lots to talk about. 

    BTW today is 11.11 What did you buy online today? I brought some stuff because of the discount on lazada but everything is for the kid. We got nothing for ourselves
