Marty Puccio & Bobby Kent were best friends, though apparently had a violent relationship, with Bobby sending Marty home with cuts and bruises many times.

Nevertheless, the two stayed friends throughout all of high school and into their early 20s, even attempting to set up a business together.

But things changed when Marty got a girlfriend named Lisa, who didn’t approve of his relationship with Bobby. Lisa tried everything to break up this friendship, to no avail, and finally decided that drastic measures were required.
