Maya is 26 years old and lives in San Francisco California. She is an account supervisor for a pharmaceutical agency. She started competing in 2018. She received her procard in Las Vegas of 2019.

Maya wasn’t a very confident person growing up. She wasn’t always in the best shape and it wasn’t until she was introduced to training and nutrition in college that her life really started to change. She instantly fell in love with bodybuilding and one year later received her pro card. Maya continues to struggle with self confidence today, but she shares how having self confidence changed her placement.

Her rookie season is every bikini girl’s fantasy. She competed in 10 shows with multiple second place placements which helped her to qualify for the 2020 Olympia
