Mal de Mer is a dynamic West Australian project that refuses to be confined to a single genre, and blends influences from Pop, Funk, Indie, and Jazz into their music. The band is constantly evolving and exploring different sounds and influences with each release. This episode I chat with Sass and John about their evolution as a band going into creating their latest EP ‘Sanguine’. We discussed the creation of their single ‘Mirage’ and being able to take their creativity to new levels with photoshoots and the accompanying music video.
