We join Sammi Nutter Charlton, a 2021 alumna from the WSU College of Education, who is now a third-grade teacher in East Wenatchee.
Sammi isn't only a teacher, she's also a children's book author, recently with Dozer Day Paves the Way, proceeds of which benefit the Nutter Family Foundation.
The book is based off the Dozer Days event that was started in Vancouver, Wash., but has spread to nine different places.
