What does having a call on your life look like? The simple answer to this question is to follow our discussion with Kevin Jones. Jones took us on a phone both ride as he shared his journey to Christ.  

                                                                                        

• Raised in a single parent household
  • Mom was the prominent parent in the home
  • His father was present but not in the home
  • Both parents were Baptist but not faithful
  • His dad’s sister introduced him to the church of Christ
  
  
• Obeyed the gospel in the 10th grade
  • Kevin obeyed the due to his roots being in the church of Christ
  • Liberty City church of Christ is where he was baptized
  • He was added to the body of Christ
  
  
• The fellowship of the saints
  • Being a part of a congregation made up of Kingdom citizens
  • The church was in the heart of the hood but the people loved each other
  
  
• Understanding that he was not a member of the body until he was baptized
  • He followed the conditions of the Gospel
  • Kevin was taught the Gospel by is uncle 
  • He eventually obeyed the Gospel

• Hear: Romans 10:17
• Believe: Hebrews 11:6
• Repent: Acts 17:30-31
• Confess: Matthew 10:32
• Be Baptized: Mark 16:15-16
• Be faithful unto death: Revelation 2:10
