Except, it isn’t—and eventually, he finds himself squarely in the crosshairs as the big-game hunter becomes the hunted.

Now, 100 years old, this classic story has been adapted many times—and has the distinction of possibly being referenced by the infamous Zodiac Killer who terrorized California in the late 1960s and early 1970s.
