You’ve heard the old bromide that on any given day, you might get hit by a bus. Well this guest has. Leon Gray, who was 65 years old at the time, not only survived getting hit by a bus that put him in a coma for two months and broke just about everything on one side of his body, but he advertises it on a shirt he wears! He had a lot of great support from his local running club, and he progressed from a wheelchair to using a walker to eventually resuming his life as an ultramarathon runner. Leon and I were able to share a lot of laughs as fellow old coots trying to rebound from broken bodies, but his tale outstrips my history of surgeries and other assorted injuries. I think you’ll enjoy and be motivated by this chat.
