When you set aside time to intentionally step away from work, whether it be to go on vacation or take some time off at home, it can be easy to succumb to work or the boundaries you’ve set! Coming straight out of spring break with my kids and reflecting on all the other seasons of life I’ve been in during this time of year, this one felt different than the others. In this episode, I want to share my experience with how I combatted that need and pull to work, even when I prepared and planned, so I could remain present in the time I wanted to invest in my kids and myself! As you approach your own spring break or even look ahead to summer, I hope you can find this useful in managing your career, business or health goals schedule!
Main Highlights:
• [2:30] - Scheduling your week and setting boundaries for your work level, even when you are excited about the great things happening in your business or career.
• [6:30] - One thing I started with that helped me stay committed to the actions I had put in place.
• [11:38] - Acknowledging that the struggle will always be there, but it's up to you to not let yourself succumb to it and fall into old habits.
• [14:00] - Understanding and getting clarity on what success really means to you can help shape your steps going forward when it comes to managing your schedule. (Episode 107)
