#128- Social English Conversation basics IIWC 3 I(the 2nd "I")

Here is the third part of this series on English conversational basics. 

We are talking about the IIWC pattern.If you missed it, listen to the last episode where you learn the basics of the IIWC pattern.

Here is a quick review of the topic.In most English-speaking countries in the west, there is a certain pattern in conversations.Here at social English, we want to help you understand the patterns of conversations.

The reason is to help you understand where conversations are starting and what the person who speaks to you is trying to achieve.I am going to give you a structure that you can use to learn this pattern.

You can even use it by listening to other people in conversations and see if you can hear the parts of this basic conversation pattern.

I want you to understand this pattern so that you can get more comfortable with speaking English to other people.When you understand the pattern, you will understand how western English speakers or native English speakers construct their conversations.

So what is this conversation pattern?I call it the “IIWC” pattern.Remember that the “IIWC” that you will learn today is only for meeting people for the first time.
So what is the IIWC? The 2nd “I” stands for introduction.

The "I" in introduction is the 2nd action that happens in the conversation.
