Josh sits down with Evolved Motion founder Emily Schromm. Evolved Motion makes carry goods with an emphasis on fitness, specifically, their EmPack a backpack that transforms into fitness gear. By filling up two water reservoirs you can use the pack as a kettlebell, barbell, or dumbbell. The idea for the EmPack was conceived while Schromm was on the road and was looking for a simple alternative to going to the lackluster gym in the hotel she was staying at. Her solution? Stuffing everything she could into her suitcase thus turning it into a jerry-rigged kettlebell thus, creating the unofficial first prototype of the EmPack. With such a functional, stylish, and straightforward solution to fitness on the go, it’s no surprise that Evolved Motion’s first Kickstarter was a success.
