The Orlando Magic were a young team battling for legitimacy in the NBA. The Boston Celtics were the tradition rich franchise, but in the summer of 1995 the Magic received their coronation when they toppled the titanic franchise for their first playoff series win and in the process closed down the 67 year-old Boston Garden in the process.
