Listen Later

Igama lamakhosikazi malibongwe!

Do enjoy our JAA SABWiL Court-craft Essentials.  We laud the Rule of Law in honour of our 1956 Imbokodo by actualising section 34 of our Constitution, Act No.108 of 1996. This educative Mbokodo Marvel is curated for candidate attorneys and those attorneys who have yet to reach three years in practice in South Africa.    Attorney Eksteen delights us with theories of the advocate's robe, Adv. A. Tiry dips into appearance fundamentals after highlighting the rights that dominate an educative environment and zooms in on section 25 of the Legal Practice Act.  Thereafter, Adv. N. Naidoo applies these fundamentals in the areas of family law and bail applications highlighting aspects of virtual hearings, if apposite.  Attorney Gladwin-Wood closes our gathering in unison with Attorney Eksteen and President Cleopatra Mahoa.

SABWiL President Cleopatra Mahoa weaves the pieces of this tapestry in honour of our 1956 Mbokodo, women of all races who stood together to fight for the access that the Apartheid pass laws denied.  The visual publication is accessible on our  SABWiL YouTube Channel at URL https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=qlfaBFiALgA if this pleases you.
