#13 Abigail Iquo Isuo, Integrative Transpersonal Psychotherapist: An obstacle isn‘t in a way. An obstacle is a way!

On my journey to uncover the phenomenon of DOING (German MACHEN), I spoke with Abigail in this episode. Abigail is dedicated to the topics of transformation and healing. Both can be achieved by discovering our patterns and beliefs and working to leave them behind. In this way, each of us can bring our potential to full fruition and thus engage in a much better DOING.

But what limits us, keeps us from growing and realizing our own treasure, and what challenges do we face on this path?

 

  1. To do justice to our environment, we too often live separated from ourselves, stuck in loops of our origins, our past, expectations, and everyday life. All of this limits us from discovering who we truly are.
  2. Leaving familiar paths and discovering new things can be scary. But if we avoid these negative emotions, we also avoid growth and development. What we fear is not something we need to fight against. Instead, we should make friends with it.
  3. Vibrations and sensations are the language of our body. They contain our light. And wisdom brings us well-being. They are not something we should suppress or run away from.
  4. All wisdom is within us. Imagine a caterpillar almost completely dissolving before it becomes a butterfly. This means that everything the butterfly needs to become beautiful is already within it. The same is true for us when we transform.

    In the end, Abigail advises us to create daily moments of silence. Moments in which we connect with nature and our consciousness.

    Abigail is a thoroughly passionate person. Every sentence of hers is like an eye-opener, and her motivation is infectious. I am particularly grateful to her for this conversation.
