We all are faced with this very important question. There is no definite answer, but one thing is certain: What is your calling and what are you trying to do on the mission field. 

It's very important for every missionary to determine when he should give a work over and when a work might be dead and you need to move on to do something else. It is obviously not easy but one thing should always be a goal and that is to train someone to take a work and continue in the spirit of a Bible believer.
