The blue tick for $8 per month, it’s a tactic, to shock #change.
A new team.
Down sizing a big tech, it’s never going to be easy, but it can be fast to shock #change.
Stay or go.
Change was a signal for a long time.
A new leaner operating model will apprear.
Memberships instead of data.
Back in June 2000, Friends Reunited one of the first social networks worked through a membership model.
£10 per month.
It worked for a while until someone twigged that people were willing to give away there data, behaviour data.
End giving data…
But now #timcook has decided that giving out data and privacy for free can end, the likes of #twitter and #facebook perhaps need to become member only platforms.
Smaller….
A start point 450m worldwide…..
Wonder where it goes from there?
