My husband, Jeff, and I got to help host a marriage conference for our church, and I got to share on communication in marriage. This is such an important topic for all marriages. Whether you have been married for 1 year or 50 years, communication is key to a happy, unified, strong marriage. God says in Genesis 2:24, “Therefore a man shall leave his father and his mother and hold fast to his wife, and they shall become one flesh.” How we communicate in marriage determines whether we are functioning in that one flesh relationship the way that God has called us to.
