It's a Lou-pisode.  Lou tells Mildred about the Bone Wars; where two rich white men fought childishly over the discovery of dinosaur bones in North America in the late 1800s.  Their discoveries may have been important, but the means and the attitude was that of petulant school boys.  Ultimately setting a tone to not take paleontologists seriously in the scientific community.
