“Know your worth, know who you are, dig deep to that and just let it shine”
Living in 2020 and dealing with social media, body image and having the pressures to be a certain way definitely takes it’s toll on all of us. In today’s episode we sat down with Mykenna Dorn to talk about how she maintains her positivity and confidence since being on The Bachelor. Growing up, Mykenna didn’t always feel like she belonged and it took an incident on national television to help her find her voice and finally stand up for herself. Mykenna talked about how she navigates friendships and dating now and the fear of people not having the right intentions or getting to know her properly. She admits to some of the hardships she endured, like jealousy, self-doubt, comparing herself to others and how she has picked herself back up from that. Anxiety was a big topic In this episode and we learned about the impact social media can have on our mental health. Mykenna gives advice to those struggling with finding their self-worth and confidence and it’s a very powerful message you don’t want to miss! Don’t worry, we didn’t forget to talk about #teamnospill and what Mykenna is up to now.
