In this episode I am talking with Betsy Mikesell, CEO and founder of Beddy's about the idea of forced growth. Forced growth is when we find outselves in a situation that pushes and challenges us to grow, but one in which we weren't planning on.

Betsy didn't orginally set out to be an entrepreneur. She created this revolutionary bedding after being frustrated while making her kids bunk beds. She launched a successful kickstarter campaign with over $108,000 in sales in less than 40 days and has taken Beddy's from a Kickstarter campaign to a multi-million dollar company.

In 2020 she was involved in a plane crash and we talk through the intense healing and growth that she was forced into in the aftermath of that accident.
